Yep, stuff gets past them. Anyone that can go from Al-Qaeda training camp to cockpit in four weeks needs to go through security. Dude, I get it.. We have all plowed a few of them, but you need to think with the big head for a minute. Go back to my two sentence rationalization for no FA's in KCM. It's all you need.

Again, irrelevant. No pilot needs a weapon, therefore screening for weapons is useless.

What the heck is a distruction? And yes hopefully the OTHER pilot can stop the crazy pilot before it is too late. Latest example would be the JetBlue pilot going to Vegas and the FO got him to leave the cockpit and locked himself in. And no, Ramrod, you are the one who hasn't quite grasped the English language just like your buddy Sailor.
