Just wanted to know the scoop on jetblue's BOS pilot domicile for those of you who are based there or know someone who is. I'm beginning my airline career journey at this time in my life and I do live in Massachusetts, so as far as QOL is concerned this would be a great option for me years down the road. Of course it is completely hypothetical because there is no way to know if I would get the job or if the base would still remain in BOS, but I figured I would ask anyway. Looking to see what the deal is with the pilot group, routes, upgrade times etc. For those who fly with jetblue, what did you have for flying time when you were hired? Also a random question....do they have free parking available for pilots at the airport?

As others have said..this is like a new CFI asking about QOL and pay rates for junior wide body captains at Delta. Nothing stays the same but ill do my best anyway.

-Pilot group is young system wide. The average age now is probably in the late 30s to early 40s. This is between the 40-50 year olds and the late 20 to early 30 year olds. 97% of them are real swell folks.

-Routes: Embraer will be primarily East Coast regional routes. Think BWI, BUF, JFK, EWR, PHL, RDU, CLT, PIT...you get the idea. You may mix in a little of FL and then some of the islands. The bus flies mostly to the islands and out west with red eyes.

-Upgrade time is around 4 years

-Most hired are around the 5-7000 TT range.

-Parking is free
