The 50 a month at AA isn't even enough to cover 737 deliveries let alone rest rules. My source at AA says 48/month just to cover new aircraft, plus they'll need staffing for the new rest rules. That's where the 60-80 is coming from.

Absolutely. It's a phenomenal airline, with a solid contract, good to see movement there.

Im excited to see what 777 captain will top out at. Right now the AA MOU and future JCBA tops out at $310/hr in 2018 plus parity review. DALs next contract will be amendable before then. My assumption is they will be looking at 330 plus an hour for 777 capt plus inflation

A very credible check airman there says strong chance of recalls and off the street hiring next quarter. They have been saying this for years so yes its too early to get excited, but I hope they at least recall.
