Training is the easiest thing in the world. If your on the bus and they ask what this fault means, the answer is "this means I need to look at the ECAM" thats it. You really want to learn the bus get red triangles because Jetblue training is not gonna teach anything.

Got MCO on this last system bid. I've looked at the pairings. Not a whole lot of variety, but it'll be worth the trade off of not stressing over a commute.

Boston isn't a junior Base?

I applied on the assumption that Boston was a Junior base.

Ohhh man, you got fed some bad info... BoS is way senior... Expect MCO or LGB out of training, possibly FLL.. Good luck!

Bos is junior.

I second, that except for 320 captain position Boston typically is the most junior base in the system.

When I came on a few months ago it was JFK and BOS. Nothing else was even offered. I know the last system bid showed the most vacancies in BOS and JFK so if you want either of those you should be fine. Unless something changed drastically or I misread something.

Jetblue Training

If one were to be in a class with only A320 to JFK available (or too junior to bid the few to Boston... I'm 33, not sure where that falls in a class but I would guess about mid way), is it likely an airbus to Boston would be available during the next system bid? It sounds like that is the case and one would just have to wait a few months to bid a new base?

If you don't get it in training then it is very likely to be awarded a transfer to BOS 320 in the next system bid. System bids come out the 1st week of March, June, September, December and the transfer dates can be anywhere from 1-6months after the bid closes.
