Several 1/15's as well as a few 1/21's. Our time will come. Expect next month unless you've got background issues or previous employers are slow with PRIA responses.

Jetblue needs to change the way they hire. In the time since I have interviewed at JetBlue (2/6), I have interviewed with another airline, completed background checks, passed medical and been offered the job. I fear JB will loose more folks this way. Most pilots will jump at the first offer they get.

Congratulations on the second offer! Do you think you'd start over there before you would start at JB?

Having choices is a good situation to be in. Best of luck wherever you end up.

Is this an accredited institution? I didn't realize grammar and spelling are so important in these forums!

Oh ... and no usage of unapproved acronyms.

I always refrain from pointing out errors because of:

"Muphry's Law is the editorial application of the better-known Murphy's Law. Muphry's Law dictates that
(a) if you write anything criticizing editing or proofreading, there will be a fault of some kind in what you have written;
(b) if an author thanks you in a book for your editing or proofreading, there will be mistakes in the book;
(c) the stronger the sentiment expressed in (a) and (b), the greater the fault;
(d) any book devoted to editing or style will be internally inconsistent."
(John Bangsund, "Muphry's Law." Society of Editors Newsletter, March 1992)

And as a psychology major I use APA format

(I hope I didn't dangle any participles)

I've been corrected on this site on grammar and spelling, but I don't get my panties in a wad because someone is trying to help. I actually appreciate the help (I went to a state school too). I would rather speak and write correctly than not.

Is this how you goons would respond if given criticism about your flying? Just get mad and offended thinking it doesn't matter because you didnt bend any metal?

I remember when I used the phrase "I could care less". The correct phrase is "I couldn't care less". Think about it. Glad someone told me.

If you folks represent the future of professional aviation (those who take offense at being corrected), God help us.
