Default Crowd sourcing of newhire resumes?

I'm puzzled that guys havn't posted the resumes of themselves or their newhire classmates. DECADES ago, before the internet, FAPA would list the previous months newhires qualifications and resumes in the next magazine. The majority of the entire class would have their information published. It's like the information age has taken a HUGE step backwards with the lack of information sharing that could be posted within hours.

Lots of companies hiring or about to hire. There could be separate threads for each company to help guys understand what the companies appear to be looking for.

Recommendation for guys to consider a common format -
(I'd recommend hours be posted in the nearest 50 or 100 hr format for ease of review)

Top couple of flying experiences- TT, TTPIC, TPIC, Turbine. MEL.
Mil time, civilian time.
Type ratings - which as PIC
IP qualifications- which a/c
largest 3-4 a/c flown - PIC and SIC time in each
3-4 a/c with most time - pic and sic in each
Education/degree
Last three flying jobs
Other flying related jobs - Safety, Stan/Eval, NATOPS
Union positions.
Other information
Internal recs - what level? Senior flight management? CP's? CKA? CA's(sign of longevity vs. newhires). Non pilot internal recs?
Family work for the company? What jobs? IE Dad a CP??? :-)
Other items specific for the company - ie FEDEX ramp worker? AA volunteer work?

Eg -

TT - 3400
TTPIC - 1200
TPIC - 1200
Turb - 2000
MEL - 2200
MIL - 1400
CIV - 2000

Type - DHC8
IP - none

DHC8 - 800
F-15 - 1200
T-38 - 200

BS - Basket weaving at GTHOH U.

Last 3 flying - F-15 ANG
DHC8 FO
UPT

Other aviation quals - Safety

Union jobs - none

Other - retired police officer

Internal recs - Dad's CP of the airline. Mother is head of HR(still havn't called...)

That's what the "Who's Been Hired" sticky thread WAS for.

And yep, I remember what youre talking about. But it only came from the pilots that participated.

FAPA didn't have an online forum where the "at-will" new hire could show their ass with other posts. Tying the info together and making a positive ID of the employee is easy and could be used against the poster. I understand why most new hires keep a low profile. I did the same while on probation.

Flyboyd - I agree. But it says something about a company if they don't want people knowing who they're hiring.

And there are work arounds. PM data and have the recipient post the results.

There's probably a software limitation, but it would be cool if it was a specific thread and it would mask the username.

Yeah, that was a great thread idea, but was derailed quickly (I just posted on there about 401k's, so I'm guilty too). I'd like to see the moderators create a hiring specific thread with an example of the desired format and a warning not to post spurious replies (including congrats and welcome aboard). Then the moderators would need to sanitize the thread whenever there is a violation. I've seen this work well on ar15.com.

And yeah, masking the username would be awesome. But a new hire could also change the dates or not include hiring dates. Additionally, one could be generic with aircraft flown, i.e. Mil Fighters, or Mil Airlift, or CRJ's etc.

I just wish that thread would get back on topic.
