Jet Blue new VP flight operations
I just saw the news that Bart Roberts will be joining Jet Blue as VP of Flight Operations. This is good news for the AA pilots and not so good news for the Jet Blue pilots. This guy is not a friend of the pilot group, so be aware of what he brings to the table. Best of luck to you in the early stages of getting your organization together, because this guy will be of no help to you!

poostain get's it! So if you want more information on this guy, talk to some of our guys on the line and they will fill you in. He lost a power struggle here and is now moving on to someplace else. I just wanted to give the Jet Blue pilots a heads up is all.

I get AA management blows, but I only know a few guys at AA and they haven't been there long, which is why I thought maybe you guys that've seen the wreckage a little more could give some specifics.

I would love to hear some specifics. I realize that at some airlines the CP office is very much at odds with the pilot group so far that has not been the case here.. I worry that that sentiment may come here to JB as well.

So, Bart Roberts, Chief Pilot, Line Operations, American Airlines, will be joining JetBlue Airways as VP Flight Ops?
Blurb from internal company memo? His name does not show up on any financial website as a replacement to current SVP Operations Jeff Martin. Martin was just given expanded roles as of April 29th, 2014.
