Second legroom divert

Apparently there's been another one. This time it's AA from Miami to Paris.

I'm on my phone and posting the news link is far too complicated.

This is why when we fly, I book my husband into the seat in front of me. :)

Smooth move but what about the guy in front of him?

Charge the pax involved for the divert and it will stop!

Or stop trying to cram more and more people on the planes and actually give them some room :)
Either way.....this behavior is ridiculous.

FAA should ban the "knee defender". It modifies the airplane without FAA approval.

Why are Captains diverting because Flight Attendants are letting themselves get caught up in arguments between two passengers? Really?

Flight Attendants are not Peace Officers. If one passenger is ill behaved to another passenger, what role does the airline have in that, if any? Does an airline have a duty in such circumstance? If there is room in First Class, I say find a serviceman, or peace loving grandma, and move them, but the miscreant in the newly open seat.

Or, if flying Jet Blue, lock them in the lav.

I am soooo glad I work charter! Love me some military men and women who know how to behave. :)

It's getting to the point airlines will have to start dispensing prozac before pax board.

The divert occurred because the PAX assaulted or interfered with an FA to the point where air marshals broke cover. That normally doesn't happen lightly...
