1. The procedure you just quoted using KCM to bypass security when traveling for pleasure (JS or not) is a violation of the KCM rules and your type will eventually ruin it for everyone when you get caught.
[/QUOTE]

Actually, what you're saying is incorrect. Perhaps your carrier has additional requirements for KCM written into your FOM above and beyond TSA requirements? Read the last FAQ question on here and it should provide an answer to this: Crewmembers

Well it looks like it is legal. Yes our company forbids using uniform to bypass or lighten security when not working so his behavior would violate our fom but apparently not the Tsa.

2. If your company has JS privileges and is with ALPA, how come no access to ID90.com which would have made your whole process much less painful for both you and HAL?
Sorry I'll keep that in mind about the KCM.

As for the ID90, my airline does not use ID90, we use myidtravel.com, two totally different websites. Also if you were to buy a ZED ticket on myidtravel.com a round trip would run you in the costs of $250+. Listing for the JS is much cheaper and might as well use the benefit of being a 121 pilot to the utmost part as you can.
Also when you call the 1888 # for HAL , the just create a PNR, no etckt is associated, an customer service agent has to add details to your PNR at the airport to complete and create an Etckt.

I see all this call that and go to this counter and tell the agent this and I heard from a guy to say this.

All I can say is... over the past 10+ years. Thanks Polar guys and thanks Atlas guys... You are the best!

No sorry or anything for calling a guy out by saying "your type" is gonna ruin it when he did absolutely nothing wrong? Nice!

Always go to the cockpit and introduce yourself, no matter what the agent says...

Yes so does mine. What I was saying that if you refer to the ALPA js guide, it will tell you to make a listing and pay the taxes via ID90.com (free to join, put in your airline info) and that way you don't have to bug the ticket staff. Sometimes the alpa guide will tell you to use a certain code, but not for HAL.
Im glad you were able to make it, often the agents are too busy to be trying to figure out how to create the listing.
Aloha, luv

Well I am sorry if I offended him, by "type" I meant the kind of pilots that bend the rules and jeopardize everyones benefits.
Apparently his actions were legal.
In this case I agree with my company that wearing the uniform just to circumvent security and then changing in the bathroom before the flight seems a little sketchy. Pax notice.
