Default jumpseating out of AMS

How easy is it to get listed as a jumpseater on delta out of AMS? I believe KLM runs the gate operations there. Could anybody shed some light or their experience on jumpseating from there. Is it worth just buying a ZED instead?

Thanks

Pretty straight forward to jump out of AMS.
Biggest issue will be full flights.

If you're savvy with international travel (trains and such) I'd check out BRU as a backup. Flights are usually much better.
