However, there are some concerns. I've read articles that in the past year Delta has transferred pilots from MSP to other bases, and have read from the Crew Resources note that DAL hasn't been backfilling openings.

1) Is this a shrinking, or worse, dying domicile? (like CVG?)

2) If not, is it so stable/stagnant that holding a narrowbody line is only a very distant possibility?

3) Best path there: A320 or M88?

Cheers!
MSP 7ERB just went to an Oct 2014 hire. Seniority #120XX.

Contrary to the other posts going back to 2014 the base has never shrunk and in fact has grown at a slow rate. When the A330-900's start arriving in 2019 it's likely MSP will become a A330 base. The future of the base is fine and movement should be reasonable given the retirements in base.

In addition all three narrow body FO seats are held by 2016 hires. 320 Spring of 16, 737 summer and MD88 to guys hired late fall. It's also likely that if the CS100 is based in LAX the 717 flying will move to MSP. Current junior 88 CA is a 2008 hire. That should jump to 2010 and possibly 2014 in the next bid.
