Jumpseat from CLT to SXM on Airways. Has anyone done this? Lookong to go down south after the holidays. Just wanted to check about departure tax and what to do once in at maarten in terms of getting to the gate.. I JS on airways all the time, but never in and out of the country.

Thanks!

I'm not sure if they do an "international" jumpseat. I've tired on usairways/ united/ aa... Delta is the only one that you can list for the jumpseat and pay tax. Although I'd just ask at the gate.

I know that JSing internationally inbound, you have to list something like 75 minutes prior to departure for APIS, and there has to be a seat available in the cabin.

I jumpseated (seat in back) Airways from PHL to Rome a couple of years ago. I paid the taxes for the return leg in PHL at the customer service counter before I left and just kept the receipt. Worked fine at the time...not sure if anything changed since

Do you have to list on Wings, or is a number you cN call?
