Delta: Body found in airplane's wheel well

ATLANTA (AP) -- A body was found in an airplane wheel well after a Delta Air Lines flight from Africa landed in Atlanta on Friday morning, airline spokeswoman Betsy Talton said.

The flight had left Dakar, Senegal, more than nine hours earlier. It landed at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

No additional details were available pending an investigation by federal and local law enforcement.

Which do you think killed him first... the lack of oxygen or the temperature?

Or could the cause of death be from being crushed inside the wheel well because he thought there was more room than there was... sad.

I heard the guy was coming to ATL for a pilot interview at Delta. Enroute he heard of Delta's starting pay. He then heard of the USAir buyout of Delta and couldnt take it anymore.

So much for aviation security. I can't commute with shaving cream in plain clothes, but this African dude can snag a ride on a bogie! Nice!

They consider the wheel well to be like checked luggage. A can of shaving cream, a frozen african, hell, they're both OK.
