Very nice list, but I really think you are confusing some things. Maybe you don't understand the meaning of the word "insignificant"
Insignificant: too small or unimportant to be worth consideration. small in size, quantity, or number. Just having a quick look around, spirit pilots make up 26% of the workforce at Spirit. Just in case you had a hard time with 6th grade math, that's a full quarter of the people that work at spirit are pilots. A full quarter. One fourth. And I'm just making a quick guess, just off the top of my head that pilots are probably the highest paid hourly wage workers at spirit, that kinda makes sense right? I mean I'm just guessing at this too, but I'm pretty sure I make more than the rampers or gate agents or schedulers. Just a hunch. So either you are terribly uninformed about the airline business or just plain English in general, you're wrong in saying the pilots are an I nsignificant portion of labor costs. Now, self centered, fine, but your argument that we are an insignificant portion of the labor costs at spirit, or that any pilots are an insignificant cost at any airline is just plain wrong. I'm not making an argument that we don't need to be paid more, we DEFINITLEY do, i'm arguing with your argument that pilots are insignificant to the operation. You are right in one part though, this is getting boring.

Enjoy your significance. The rest of us know that our pay scales will neither make nor break this company.

It's not my need for significance, and don't try to put this on me, you're the one who couldn't get his English straight. And where do you get off saying the rest of us, look buddy, I'm a pilot here too. I want a contract that's suitable for my work within the industry. A contract that properly pays and is competitive with the rest of the Airbus pilots out there. This company can and should pay us, I haven't EVER said anything to the contrary.
