David Clark PRO-X headset issues with B737NG?

Hello 737 drivers...does anyone have the David Clark PRO-X active noise cancelling headset that they are using on the 737NG? More specifically, does it work in the world's loudest jet cockpit with respect to impedance? I have heard several guys say their headset won't work in the 737 cockpit due to said impedance issues. Does anyone have a good recommendation for what headset works well in the 737? Many thanks in advance to everyone, my hearing won't last much longer if I don't start using something better than earplugs!

I use a Telex 850. Had to send it back to the factory to get it to work, but all good now

I have been using it in all models of the 737 since it came out....Have had no issues at all.....Blue tooth works awesome as well....Have used Dave Clarks since 1979....These are the best yet.....2 double A bats last about a week

Do you have to use batteries on the Telex 850? It seems like you would on the DC, but not the Telex....

Why not post your reply here? Is this security sensitive information? Some other people may have the same question and would like to know the answer.

Thought you were asking about Dave Clark....No idea about that Telex

Thanks for the replies, I appreciate it! I was asking about the DC's, because my old DC was indestructible and great quality. However, I did not know they also require batteries then found out the Telex models do not require them. My trips tend to be multi-day, odd hour trips so I'd have to keep extra batteries around, if I don't lose them...

DC Pro X

I have had them about 2 months. They work great in -300's and NG's. I use some radio shack rechargeable AA and they last about 6 working days. My only complaint is that at night the power on indicator is a very bright flashing light.
