Delta Indoc Hours

The wife is trying to plan some upcoming business trips... Trying to figure out childcare issues/daycare etc... What are the classroom times for Indoc?

Cycle Pilot 06-29-2015 01:21 PM

Indoc times usually run normal business hours... 8 to 5. Nothing crazy. Welcome to Delta!

The only day that goes later is the alpa day which goes into the evening. Our alpa day was the second to last day.

Plus the dinner day (second Monday or so?). Allow yourself some slack too in your planning. You don't want to be the guy looking at your watch at 4:55 freaking out if it runs a bit late. It shouldn't, but it could.

How much is training pay? How long does it last? And how much is first year pay? Thank you in advance

Don't have it in front of me but new hire pay is approximately 4K per month until finished with OE. Once done with OE, you get line or reserve pay, which varies, but plan on about 76 hours per month at $70-80 per hour until the anniversary of your hire date and then you go to second year pay which varies a lot depending on aircraft, line/reserve/seniority/soft money etc.. It varies by month and by line/reserve as well as if we keep current book for a while or go to the new TA rates in July.

After everything (though I did not opt for Delta health insurance), I was netting around $1500 on the 1st and 15th.
