Default Jumpseating YVR-DEN on UAL question

Hi-

Trying to avoid going back through base on a scheduled deadhead, would rather go straight to DEN. I'll already be in the terminal at YVR, what are the requirements to jumpstart on UAL internationally? I assume YVR has pre-clear so I expect to have to go out through security and reenter for passport stuff, then go to the ticket counter?

Thanks.

Yeah, gotta go out to check in counter to list then head thru.

Heads up though United agents in YVR are difficult to list with. They don't know much about jumpseating and may not know how to list you.

Personal experiences with them have not been positive, but that was a year or so ago it's probably better now.

Thanks for the info, and the quick response. I'll have a couple of hours to get it done so it should work out.

I just did it 2 weeks ago. Actually worked out pretty good.
To the left of the United ticket counter, there is a special desk. This is where I was told to go. As usual, they ask you if you are listed, even though our Jumpseating procedure say that it is not required. You will pay the tax, about 35$ (US). Once you check in, go behind the counter, there is a door that says crew line. Take it, go through security and then immigration. That's it. Really easy.
