Science and studies. Your body takes a toll with interrupted and non normal sleep.

Coming from the fire service, it is common for fireman to die a few years retirement. I'm talking about guys who retire in the 60's.

One thing , and I don't work there , at FedEx you don't have to go to 65 to get your full A plan . 25 years gets you the max. A person starting at 35 years old could go at 60 with the full $130,000 . If he has maxed out his B plan over that same 25 years and gotten a conservative 4 or 5% return he will have the luxury of deciding if he wants to go past 60.

I've heard that, and it makes intuitive sense. However, I can find absolutely no data to support the oft repeated contention that UPS/FEDEX pilots die young. And/or that they only draw pension for X years.

If you've got any data, I'd love to see it

I think you are answering your own question.

Or maybe you are trying to find evidence such as ages of these cargo pilots? Like retirement till death and age?

So, what did you decide: FedEx or Delta?

[QUOTE=webecheck;2047121 Going to cool places is fun, but going there with a hot woman for free can sometimes be the utopian dream. My girlfriend surprised me by showing up on one of my IOE legs and overnighted with me. It was nice. I imagine living in base and taking someone on a 2 day with you can have its benefits.

Pictures??

In the interest of full accuracy, you can retire at FedEx with a full pension after 25 years and age 60. If you retire between the ages of 55-60 there is a 3% per year reduction (prorated per month) for early retirement. So, if you got hired at FedEx at age 30 and worked 25 years, you would not get a full retirement.
