My father also was in Korea, but passed before I became involved in Honor Flight. He too was very quiet about his experience, and went to his grave with alot of anger about his experience. I have some comfort in the fact others are getting the experience, so they can know we as a nation honor their sacrifices. Our MKE hub is lucky to have the Great Lakes base so close. They send 100 + service men and women every flight to form the "Hallway of Honor". VERY IMPRESSIVE.
Yes, after bouncing around for a few years after Midwest, I am fortunate to be at United. In this crazy industry, am hoping this is my last rodeo.....

I've done a few of them for North Country Honor Flight, and I'm doing another one this Saturday. They are an amazing experience, I highly recommend finding a way to get involved if you can!
