For what it's worth.... I have non-polarized Serengeti's and they're too dark for The Bus. I'm looking for a new pair as well.

Light enough tint to read the PFD and I'm blinded by the sun.

My raybans I've used for years are too dark.

What brand and model have people had luck with?
Serengeti? Drivers gradient?

I have found nothing that works with the old screens on some buses. The newer ones are sweet-but older ones are impossible. I have tried Serengetis and Ray bans. Had to take the sunglasses off altogether to see the old screens.

I have a pair of Maui Jim's from Costco that work very well on the older busses. They're polarized but the only problem I have is with the clock and I have to turn my head slightly to tune a radio.

That's odd, my RB3025s work just fine, and I've been wearing those since flight school.

I've always used oakleys. Work great.

Yeah man the old screens are terrible . Almost can't see the screens with no sun glasses !

We've written a few up . At some point it's just to hard to see any type of radar return on some of the olds ones .

Can you report back on this? And are you using them on the older bus's with the CRT screens or the newer LCD screens?
