I've seen pics of a C-130 birdstrike that shattered one of the windows near the pilot's feet. The bald eagle (ironic, eh?) that the -130 hit ended up on the aft bulkhead at the back of the cockpit. It was pretty gory. Fortunately both pilots were unharmed, aside from some blood splatter. If you Google "bird strike" and c-130, you'll get a few of the pictures in case anyone's interested.

I just thought I remember hearing or reading about an incident where during some portion of the flight, landing I think, that some bird went through the window and hit one of the flight crew in the head and blinded him. . . It has been some time since I heard or read about that encounter, details foggy, I was just asking if anyone knows of or has heard of this incident. Hopefully I'm dreaming all this up and it never did / never will happen.
