I think it would be smart for most of the relatively junior mainline pilots to get their resumes up to date. I think there will be a lot of government jobs opening in the near future while I imagine mainline carriers will start shrinking.

I sincerely hope you're right, as business as usual is working out pretty well for us! However Trumps party now controls the WH, house, senate, and de facto the Supreme Court. None of us were alive the last time that happened. THEY can do basically anything they want and historically GOP leadership has been very bad for the airline industry. |
