On my airline I've had several conversations about how they won't even offer cookies and pretzels as a choice because 'they don't want the hassle'. On transcons they spend 85% of the flight huddled in the back talking to themselves.

As I've posted before... NAI is not the enemy nor threat, it's the management. Better products and performance is a must. The difference is night and day when it comes to cleanliness, service, presentation, aminities and quality from foreign carriers to U.S. legacies.
Have any unions brought this to the attention of their respective memberships or management via the MECs? I'd be willing to bet it would be a shock to management that the unions were demanding better products besides $$$ |
