Does your current contract include re-imbursement for your Class 1?
Which company do you work for?
I think it's a crock of horse***t for an airline NOT to pay for FAA exams!

For a one time only good deal CAL will pay for FOs currently holding a second class medical to upgrade to 1st Class, but only until 5 Mar, then you are non-qual. Good luck!

Yes.
If performed in-house, by company doctors, JAA Class 1 Medicals are completely free.
If examined elsewhere, you pay, submit a claim form, and are fully re-imbursed.
