It is with deep sadness I have to announce that my Mentor and dear Friend Captain Chris Mills passed away Sunday afternoon. He was taken way too early, and will be greatly missed. For those of you who knew him or flew with him at either Charter Air Transport, Michael Waltrip Racing or Spirit Airlines, I offer my condolences. His loss will be felt by many. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time. I know firsthand that Chris lived to share the joy of Aviation, and His immense wisdom and humor to many many pilots who were entering the career field, or just learning to fly over the last couple decades. He was a wonderful friend to those of us who were blessed to call him our Friend. Chris, I love you and miss you Brother, and your final set of wings were earned in Honor of a life well lived. Godspeed My Friend. You will be deeply missed.
