Default RIP Captain Arthur Kegel (DHL/Astar)

The aviation world has suffered a tragic loss with the passing of Capt. Art Kegel. Art was a great friend and will be missed by all that knew him. I will always consider it an honor to have known him.

RIP Boss.

Art tread a very fine line between one of the most corrupt and egotistical bosses the industry has ever known, and the pilots he tried to protect. He was truly "one of the good ones," and will be missed...

I respected the guy. He was a good manager, and never did he once speak down to pilots in a condescending tone.
