Default Passing of Captain Craig "Whitey" Drossel

All,

Whitey has flown west after a battle with Cancer.

Please keep him and Diana in your thoughts and prayers.

It was truly an honor to call Whitey a friend and I will sorely miss him. A true selfless friend, gentleman, Officer, Patriot, and founding member of Fedex ALPA.

Fair winds and following Seas Captain!

How sad...Whitey was a great guy and a true friend. Whitey was the CAG LSO (along with Stan Foltz) when I was on the America and later the Independence. There were those nights when the weather sucked and fuel was low, that to hear Whitey or Stan, was the voice I needed to hear to help me get aboard. I've missed Stan and I'll now miss Whitey too. Rest in peace my friends. Thanks for getting me aboard all those years ago.

Very sorry to hear that. One of my all time favorite FDX guys. RIP Whitey

We all owe a debt of gratitude to Whitey for the sacrifices he made for us then and what we enjoy as a result now.

Go rest high on that mountain.

Sad news of such a great mentor and overall good guy.

My best wishes and pryers to Diana, too.
