Everyone is still losing money and the economy is looking shaky. Consolidation through M&A seems inevitable. Anyone have any educated guesses as to what we may see going forward?

Unlikely that AA could buy B6 right now, given their state of disarray. Maybe B6 could buy AA... minnows swallowing whales in now an AA tradition.
An AS/B6 merger would be more palatable to the regulators. Maybe throw HAL in there somewhere. |
