The only thing I know for sure is that they ALL get 4% equity in the merged company. Pilots have always been, and will always continue to be dealt with seperately as the only union on the property. What will be interesting will be to see what happens to the unions now on the NWA property... I'm betting they go away (with the possible exception of the FAs, which are voting on AFA, and boy will THAT be fun to watch). Anybody from NWA hearing anything?

I don't think the IAM will be easy to get rid of. They represent rampers, agents and res agents and thats a whole lotta people at NWA.

Do you honestly think that any of the other employee groups care about what happens with the pilots?

Of course I don't know the big picture wrt to certification/decertification of unions, but I do know that the WAL FAs were unionized... the PAA FAs were union... and they are not now. See a pattern? I'm betting that when DAL has the entire enchilada, those other unions will go the way of the DoDo too... I have been wondering about this for some time... |

I think your right. Will be just awholelotta leaflet passing out and voting for the next several years. Just a funny asside, one of our union officer type FAs was relating a story of when he was talking to a Delta FA about AFA. She said "I'd love to join but myyyy daddy would just disown me if I joined a union"
