What is the cost of this expense? thanks.

Must be an American expense. No charge unless you add a “2nd friend” on United - then the additional friend costs $200 per year.

Also, if you fly the Ejet, there is no American benefit at all.

I’ve downloaded and taken the Shepard air course in the past like 4 years ago. Is the ATP written the same questions then as it is now.....

No, I took in 2013, then in 2016. It was definitely different and harder the second time. They added alot of 117 stuff and performance charts for Bombardier products.

I remember there was a lot of Memorization. For example I remember studying the answers to the questions and finding those exact questions and answers on the test. Is that the same with this new test? How many times are you able to take the test to pass it?

It is basically the same. The biggest difference is the FAA no longer published the test bank. So, the questions and answers must come from test takers.

You may take the test once with a CTP certificate. In order to retake, a CTP instructor must review with you the questions that you missed and approve you to retake it.

If you are worried about retaking this test, you will sweat bullets over the oral.
