It's not just a GA headset, but I bet it has better clarity than the Telex 850.
How many professional airline pilots have you seen use a Bose headset? Maybe 3 or 4 out of 20,000? |

My dentist used a Bose A20 when he flies his Bonanza on weekends.

I wouldn’t be too upset if I got one for free. The only drawbacks I can think of are having to change batteries and it might be uncomfortable for some after 2+ hours. |

I use one, but it’s the older X model. Several of my CAs used the X, A20 or one of the Uflymike combos.

Hehehe. To further elaborate, a lot of airline pilots are cheapskates and will never plunk down $1k on a headset. Some guys even use the company supplied DCs :D
