WoW 10+ years on the CRJ and still not able to progress in their airline careers!!Hmmmm.... In this crazy hiring culture, esp. with 'Flow Through's" and such, it sure as heck, ain't their love for the CRJ. More like having some skeletons in their closets, (so to speak)...i.e. past/present training issues, personality issues, no 4 year college degree or just simply unable to pass an interview!! 1% are the problem children. |

There is also only two CAE instructors that are contracted to instruct for Mesa (These are different than Mesa company contractors). One is a former Mesa guy and the other is a retired United guy that is really sharp and did almost all of my training for initial training. |
You don’t know. Could be age or medical.

There HAS been a turn around. We are finally adding more than we are losing. Significantly so.

This thread is a year cool, but
-is the pass rate for Mesa new hires any better this year? Still 50% failure rate like when this thread began a year ago? -Mesa does not offer AQP for initial training I assume, but what if you are a veteran CRJ pilot transferring from some other regional? To rephrase the same, is a new hire with a CL-65 type/121/ATP placed in recurrent or initial training? |

One has a pretty good business on the side and decided he didn’t care to fly. Why not get the benefits and sleep in your own bed. |
Thanks. But what's the latest on the washout rate? Was that a passing thing all fixed now?

Oh, and there are no CAE instructors. The contract instructors are Mesa employees.
