No flow, they still get Aviate. Maybe a higher % of class dates

The new deal will also assist WV with its pilot shortage. Mesa currently has 400 pilots ready for training. The airline is now planning on becoming an entry route for flight crews wanting to fly for UA.

"United has acted very decisively in this particular circumstance to ensure there's a pilot flow that goes from Mesa into United," Ornstein said. "There is a big demand for pilots and I think United views

Mesa as their farm team."

I really wished Mesa had a guaranteed contractual no BS fine print flow to UA, like AAWO's do to AA.

It would def bring in many many pilots and have them stay.

So, are you suggesting United buy Mesa and make it a WO? I will not hold my breath.

Either that, or just throw it into the contract. Easier to negotiate something in return to United, and throw it into the contract.

United will get all the 175s (125 I believe)they own and currently leased to express back on their property and have new Aviate pilots go there with a 4 year seat locked
2 as first officer and 2 as captains

all in the United seniority just like Lufthansa does

it will be on their next TA

Little by little 2 year plan to get the 175 going on their certificate
That’s why the 900 will temporary replace the 175

mark my words

Well…..6% of us thought the Tumi turd was worthy of being ratified. So, MOST of us are smart, with some special needs mixed in for good measure!
