Tough talk from someone whose 70/90 seat rates are BELOW the PCL CA TA rates. Pull your head out of your ass, and realize that you aren't exactly raising the bar yourself.
As a part of a pilot group currently in negotiations, I sure wish we were looking up to you guys, not down.
Good luck with your "employee policies" and your committee that you call a union.

FRESH KOOL-AID ~20 MIN AGO FROM JONATHAN ORNSTEIN TO ALL MAG EMPLOYEES:
>>>
Hi Everyone!
I hope everyone has had a good week in spite of the crazy weather everywhere. Here in Phoenix we just got finished with a very productive Board of Directors meeting and I wanted to pass along what is potentially some very good news. Last week Mesa and USAIR entered into a “Letter of Intent” to add 9 additional CRJ900s to our fleet for a period of 8 years! While there are still a number of issues that need to be resolved, contracts signed, and leases procured certainly the fact that we earned this business is very exciting and a big step forward for our company and all of us here at Mesa. It seems like a very long time since we have had any growth and I want to thank each of you for your contribution to our success in “wining the business.” As you can imagine the competition was extremely tough and we faced other carriers with better access to aircraft and a lot more $$$! What they didn’t have was the drive, determination and teamwork that all of you have exhibited through what has been a very difficult few years. I remain confident that if we continue to work together this will only be the beginning of Mesa’s hard earned “comeback!” For those of you who have been around awhile – and that now includes most of us, you know that this will not be the first time Mesa has executed a turnaround and I have every reason to believe this one could be even bigger and better than anything in the past! If we can remain focused on providing our passengers and airline partners the best possible service at the most attractive price I am sure our best days remain ahead of us.
Again, I would like to thank each of you for all of your support and a job incredibly well done.
Kindest regards,
Jonathan

There is no way they will be flying in delta paint. the company wont paint the delta logo on them. they will probably be some sort of hybid blue/white usair with no lettering to look like a real low ball unsafe airline that will make passengers fear for their life. by the way, wear your hat and look professional

I've moved on from Mesa but have enough friends there to be glad when a non-union group is unable to poach more of their flying.

Having flown for both, I know where I'd rather be, and it isn't the ALPA carrier.
