And that is the issue with careers today. Not many take pride in what they do. They just do that what is minimal to collect. Right, wrong, indifferent, that is how a majority of people are in any job or career. Why help others right when there is nothing monetary involved for me....... Such a **** poor attitude in any career. I am not new to 121 or other career fields and I see this a lot. Never stop helping others if you are able too.

"So, flaps, tell me about a time you went above and beyond for a customer?"

Are you really gonna answer "all I do is fly the plane because that's what my FOM says. Nothing more, nothing less." ???

Also, newbie??!?? Lol was that supposed to be an insult? Already got a couple of carriers under my belt and not by choice homeslice. You did a much better job insulting yourself with your unwillingness to help those around you.

Merry xmas mesa peeps :)

Mesa

How long can one expect to be on reserve on the 175 side of the house if you start next month?

Last I heard, only prior 121 or jet time were getting the Ejet. Don't want to put green on green on the Ejet... The captain will be newly upgraded from the CRJ side, they don't want the FO to be someone without any jet experience.
All I can do is laugh about the questions new people have... Your priorities and expectations need to be smashed by a shockwave from a nuke...
How about you get passed the sim and IOE first, and more importantly, are competent enough to pass your 6 month line check? This isn't Disney World, it's a job, you may be assigned a base you don't want, you will work days you don't want to, you will miss home, you will hate commuting, you may fly with Marcin or Long Jr, etc... Deal with it. You will eventually learn the ropes and find a corner over here that you will enjoy.
Hell, this goes for every regional... Roll the dice it's all **** luck anyhow!

Yeh, what I love about Marcin is that he has no filter, says whats on his mind, reminds me of a frequent poster on here...

Truly, the most interesting thing going on at Mesa right now is the DFW operations... The Envoy ground crews playing dirty, rumors that they are purposely breaking the rear cargo bins, saying our struts are low, loading one bag at a time on the belt loaders, etc...Delaying our flights, etc...
Will J.O. do something? Does Doug Parker give a crap? Stay tuned!
