Guys talk about contracts at other places like theyre great. Ive worked at 3 regionals and RAH is not the worst. It does have the worst contract but that doesnt mean its the worst place to work. Look into basing and movement- 2 big things that make a regional less torturous. The major negativity about all of these places comes from fo s who have had to deal with garbage for way too long. I feel bad for them, and theyre right about these contracts, but objectivity has long since faded. Good luck and I hope yur out of the regional world within 2 years bro.

I did 2 years at Mesa and thought it was pretty miserable, and now 5.5 years at RAH in the right seat I can say its really not much better or worse. Both airlines have management that really know how to tighten the screws on the work force, so that's a draw. The Ipad EFB's are a nice feature over there, but you have to buy your own. Bases are nice and centralized over at Mesa, but then again if you live in a RW base or have a good set up for a crash pad, then that is something to consider. RW has the growth for sure with AA flying to come, however Mesa is still in the running for possible new flying with UA. If that does get awarded to them, then from my perspective, its all about which base would fit your lifestyle better. Of course I say that as if these airlines never close bases. But that is a whole different discussion all together. The one thing you will find at both airlines are fantastic crew members to fly with. Both groups have been through their own hell over the past few years and for better or worse it has created a unique culture among the ranks.

Many such comparisons are no-brainers; no need for a RAH vs SKYW or Eagle vs Great Lakes thread. It's tougher to discern the differences between peers.

Incorrect. ZK has the worst contract.

Carry on.
