There is a rumor that Mesa MEC opted to have Skywest and RAH MEC's excluded from the MEC teleconference.

You should be asking if the current leadership at SKW wants to get information and use that against other carriers to grow? Also ask if the current "board" at Skywest supports concessions and cuts to gain more flying?

The truthful answers to those questions will bring light to the situation about this call. That's at least what I am hearing!

What information was being disseminated that Skywest could use to gain business? These were pilots talking with each other how to prevent further erosion of our profession. Management was not privy to the teleconference.

Are you sure about that. From what I read on these forums the EGL MEC is getting bashed for some LOA that allows them to have their payroll paid for by their management. If its true I do not know but it is posted in another thread.

Yet the SKW leadership is not leading a NMB recognized "union" and all of their time off is paid for by management, but no one brings that up and its okay for one group but not the other.

I'm confused so maybe someone can shed some light on this.

I'm fairly positive that you carry around a jug of Kool Aid like Uncle Si does with tea.

Funny thing about the interwebs...

Lots of stuff gets "heard" then posted, which sends folks into a tizzy...but almost nothing ever gets substantiated.

How quickly you forget! How did SKW get into UsAirways and PHX? Skywest Airlines underbid Dash8 flying from Mesa and placed CRJs into those slots! Do some research and get educated on what Skywest Inc. real plan is!
