I am not kidding. Still have the voice mails and emails. I have never applied to Mesa. I'll attach the email. I give my friend the recruiters number, and he was hired on the spot when he called ten minutes after I give it to him. He's in the July 7th class for the 175.
These are very exciting times at Mesa. As you may know, as a result of our outstanding operating performance as well as our competitive cost structure, we have been awarded new contracts which will nearly double the size of our company over the next several years.
We are committed to approaching this growth very carefully and thoughtfully. By being proactive, we believe we will insure that we have an adequate and steady supply of qualified aviators.
We want to thank you for your interest in Mesa. After a thorough review of your application we are pleased to offer you a class date to begin First Officer training. This offer is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory interview along with the following:
• a DOT drug screening
• a background and reference check
• a basic skills and general evaluation
Starting Rate of Pay: $22.18 per Flight Hour.
Report Date: August 11, 2014 Time: 0600 Equipment Type - E-Jet 175
Upon receipt of your acceptance of this offer, you will be scheduled and booked for Hotel & Travel based upon the origination point you enter below. Travel will be scheduled for one day prior to your report date. Your date of birth and origination city are for ticketing purposes only. Your itinerary will be sent via email at least 14 days prior to your report date.
Although this offer is for a future date, please keep in mind that we are in the early stages of staffing for a significant CRJ-900 expansion and beginning late Spring 2014, we will begin staffing for the E-175 Jet. We expect this growth to continue for several years and plan to run classes every three weeks throughout this period.
We understand that individual circumstances may change and want to emphasize that we are committed to working with you and to being as flexible as possible with regard to this start date. If anything changes please call us to discuss your individual situation.
Mesa is in the midst of an exciting new era which will prove to be the best opportunity in the industry for our new aviators. We all look forward to welcoming you to our team. Please email your signed invitation to:
[email protected] so we may proceed with the next phase and get you in class
Sincerely,
Mesa Air Group-Chief Pilot

Well, he lucked out then; I wasn't offered a choice.
New toys are great but I'm perfectly fine with getting the CRJ. CRJ upgrades will be substantially quicker and I'd much rather upgrade into a jet I'm experienced in. Plus a PHX commute will be much better for me than IAH, once I can hold it.

I'll feed ya!
163 posts of pure Mesa Hate. That's Sad, and what's even more pathetic is that you failed out of IOE at Mesa, 80-100 hours I hearing. "My God" son time to rethink some life choices and move on per say? Has this pointless charade benefited you in any way?

It all makes sense... No one puts the time and effort into all negative posts, unless they were one who couldn't cut it.
