However, there are other fairs beside Air Inc., like Women in Aviation and Organization of Black Airline Pilots, and the other one on Climbto350. From what others have posted, you do not have to be any specific sex or ethnic group to attend. I am going to check out the OBAP in Las Vegas in April.
I went to the AirINC fair in DFW in Jan and was uninpressed when it came to the majors. The lines for CAL, FedEx, UPS, AirTran, and SWA were LONG. Several hundred people handing in resumes. There were both HR and regular pilots (FOs and Capts). If you stood in line and ended up getting to talk to a FO, my opinion, it was a waste. I heard obvious comments like, network and get recs and you meet the mins (so do the other 200+ people in this line). If you got to talk to a HR person or top management pilot then your mileage may vary. If you want to talk to a smaller company, your results may be better.

I heard the fair you want to go to is the Women in aviation. Just as much, if not more airlines, with alot less people. This way you get more faced time without being rushed by hundreds of people waiting in line behind you.

The WIA conference was about a month ago and from what I hear that are quite a few guys that go there. I wouldn't look past it as a place to get some face time.
