Default ANG/AFRC UPT Interview Questions

Hello All-

**Long time reader, first time thread-er.. I tried to make sure this wasn't discussed elsewhere.. tell me to shove it if I'm wrong!**

Would any recent UPT interviewees/hiring board members care to share some of the interview questions you remember?

I know there are the traditional "describe a time when.. adversity/leadership/failure..etc," but were there any that you felt unprepared for or that sounded unique?

Trying to stay in the loop as I throw my name in the hat in the coming years.

Happy Hunting.

I know to check flyingsquardon.com, etc. but the threads are pretty dated.

Look for questions probing your commitment to serving as a military officer.

When I interviewed it was less of a structured interview and more of a 20ish minute conversation getting to know me. Basic stuff like:
"why this unit"
"why the ANG"
"what do you do for fun"
"tell us about yourself, your background, why military pilot, etc."

Then they went through my resume and college transcript asking about some specifics like:
"why did you fail that class freshman year"
"how are you involved with xyz organization"

The entire conversation was very laid back and clearly them just trying to get to know me as I had no face time with the squadron prior to the interview. I took the negatives in my resume/transcript and essentially spun them into a funny story that got the board laughing and understanding of everything.

I ended up receiving a conditional hire (degree not completed yet) and would be happy to give you some more information if you would like to PM me.
