Default VA disability still first class?

I currently have my first class medical with my current medical condition reported. My question is, if I go get my VA Disability for this will that have an impact on how the FAA views my condition that they already signed off on? The fact that the VA says it’s worthy of a disability rating worry’s me that the FAA will be worried about it and require further evaluation in my next medical.
Any suggestions are helpful!
Dr.Bruce your input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Edit: Just to be clear, I have reported the condition on my last medical already and have not gone to the va for disability yet.

90% and first class holder here. Read the FAA guide to AMEs for specifics about your condition. Recommend Dr. Jerry Limoge in Colorado Springs. Very pro veteran (he is a retired AF General) and has the right connections at the FAA for difficult cases.

If your previously reported condition has not changed, and is not embellished in the VA records, the fact that you get a rating for it will have zero impact on the FAA.

They care only about the nature and severity of the condition, the presence of absence of a VA rating is irrelevant.

You will need to check that box, but since the condition was previously reported, that won't change anything.
