Not always true. Especially in a fighter unit with airspace very close.

Especially if you're in a fighter squadron. The guys who stay full time take years to get the the hours. The dudes who were able to pump their TT up in the regionals, were getting calls early in the hiring wave, even when they had low military hours and were not even IPs.
