Easy question:

I have one word for you about your vision that helped "a friend of mine" start his career with the ANG, OrthoKeratology. Do a little google searching on this and find guy in your area that does it, give him a visit and lay out a little $$$ and if you really want to be a MilPilot, your well on your way. I hope you decide to do it, although it sounds like your pretty established, if your willing to sacrifice about 2 years to do some cool a** stuff, go for it full steam ahead and get it rolling while you still have a window.

O and in response to the Riddlers post, if your 27 and already have a job with an airline do not call a recruiter. Your looking to be in a Guard or Reserve job, no offense to AD, but throwing down 10 years after pilot training and starting at 27 would be absolutely crazy, unless your crazy like that. Goto www.baseops.net and click the link to pilot jobs and there is a listing of contacts at different units all over the country that are hiring pilots. This way you will know what your going to fly and be able to select where you want to be based. If you have any more questions feel free to PM me. I just got through the first 2 year process of getting into the guard so its pretty fresh. Good Luck in whatever you decide to do.
