Lots of good insight, thanks! I didn't know what types of replies I would hear--I was surprised that airdrop was not a highly sought after qual in BIG MAC...but then again airdrop is all I've ever known.

I see lots of negatives in the C-130 world if they transitioned us to a reduced formation airdrop qual. But like it was mentioned, the requirement exists for us to be 100% airdrop qualed and I don't see any GOs working to change it.

Seems we all have our niche in life, and we work to be the best at our jobs. You C-17 toads keep flying those TWCF missions, staying in nice hotels around the world and leave the TAC AIR requirements to the C-130! We'll be laughing at you from our tents as we keep the dust off our laptops....

We could probably start a whole thread on bitter aviators and the games they play. I have always held the ARC in high esteem for the way they interact with each other. AD definately has some aviators with their panties in a wad.

By AD I meant air drop, not active duty. There are wadded panties all over the place.

I hope there are none wadded in AFRC as I start in a month or two. Looking to avoid that kind of BS.

Yeah, I wish it were like that all the time. Don't get me wrong, I did just get back from a nice vacation in S America. But of course, I had to pay for that with 4 months to the sand container right down the street from you all. But I'll keep laughing anyway, good luck and green green green green green.
