They were recruiting right from College. They would put you on the books, give you a partial paycheck during the Semesters. Then in the Summer you'd work an intern @ Full travel, fulltime pay with full lodging and per diem.

The only contractual obligation was that for every year of College they paid for, (including and up to a Masters), you were committed to work 1.5 years for the Company.

This offer, as an Intern, was available for every position from Admin, IT to OPS.

Its a great opportunity for someone @ the College Level or working towards a Masters or PhD. But I've found that most people don't want to make the necessary lifestyle sacrifices and changes, (such as; frequent and/or unscheduled travel; missed family weekends and Holidays and multiple forced transfers).

Once again this information is/was all available from the current/former open source job solicitations.
