Default LPRP Promotions

Does anyone have any idea about how you get promoted if you accept LPRP. I doubt that this will be an issue for new LTCs or MAJs, but senior MAJs or LTCs may not want to be stuck. I've read that you will not meet an Active Duty board, but you are still eligible for the Reserve board. How do you compete at the Reserve level? Any facts would be great. Thank you.

I've been wondering about this also. If we can only get promoted on a Reserve board, how does that work and what are the chances we'll actually get promoted?

Chris99,
So you took the job at the AOC as a Maj or Ltc? I talked to an Airman at ARPC a while ago and got the phone juggle and finally was cut-off. I need to call back.

Neither. I got out of the AF with the VSP program right before my Maj board. Let me know what you find out.
