Default Buzzed by a C-17 today

Now there's something I don't see everyday.

I was working in my garage when when that bad*ss flew overhead - I'd say about 1500 AGL headed west - flaps down, gear up. I turned on my handheld scanner and a few minutes later I heard the words "... we're departing to the east, so we'll get out of your hair." Sure enough, here it comes going the other way.

I just now read in the news it was doing a low flyover at SDSU for a fallen soldier ceremony.

I love those types of flybys! I'm sure a C-17 got alot of attention that low.
Another guy got *buzzed* on Thursday around El Centro. Anyone on the forum here flying Caravan's in FedEx colors get a close up view (550') with a Hornet around Brawley, CA?
