No, it doesn't.

I have three friends (one I went to school with) who are 130 pilots at AIRSTA Sacramento. Trying to figure out who was on the flight (it's already been pulled down off of ALMIS).

That is terrible news. My heart goes out to them as a human, aviator, Marine and as a man whos brother in law is a CG aviator.

Not happy at Sector San Diego either, the 130 was called down to support one of their events.

Godspeed.

Very sad news indeed, thoughts and prayers for the crews and their families.

What a hard recent time for military aviation in general. Their service will always be remembered. To all of the current/past military service members, thank you for your service to our country.

Very sad. Why does the military refuse to install TCAS onboard their aircraft. How many midairs does it take?

Fair winds...

"Very sad. Why does the military refuse to install TCAS onboard their aircraft. How many midairs does it take?"

Perhaps we should wait for the investigation to reveal the causal factors. Making this statement without knowledge of each aircraft's technical capabilities and the crew's situational load at the time is premature.

The seven Guardians and two Marines were brave soldiers performing their duties for all of us.

God Bless.

You're right it was premature. I just get frustrated when I hear about tragic incidences like this.

Premature indeed considering the USCG Herc IPs in my squadron say they have TCAS.

You also assume their transponders was on.
