Going to advertise a T-6 AGR job in a few days also. Not on the boards yet, just a heads up it will be. AGR is a good gig, no matter the airframe. Pretty good money (they get the bonus(s)) and it's dependable.

I finished PIT in September. Took me 12 weeks to get through. The billeting on base is absolutely horrible. I stayed there for about a month and could not take it any longer and moved off base to one of the PIT Crash pads for the same price each day. Granted, I was there in the middle of the summer, and the rooms were about 85 degrees inside as the AC did not work, but now being winter time it may not bee too bad. However, the billeting rooms had bed bugs, black mold, etc, and the leadership did nothing to get us better quarters. The nice VAQs there they will not let PIT students stay in them.
I was in Building 101, had nice cold A/C, and none of the creeping death mold and bugs you refer to. So, YMMV. |
