Going to advertise a T-6 AGR job in a few days also. Not on the boards yet, just a heads up it will be. AGR is a good gig, no matter the airframe. Pretty good money (they get the bonus(s)) and it's dependable.

Granted, I was there in the middle of the summer, and the rooms were about 85 degrees inside as the AC did not work, but now being winter time it may not bee too bad. However, the billeting rooms had bed bugs, black mold, etc, and the leadership did nothing to get us better quarters. The nice VAQs there they will not let PIT students stay in them.

FWIW I was at PIT the same time as you (one class behind, it seems -- I was in C Flight with Sidler) and I lived in the BOQ with none of the problems you mention.

I was in Building 101, had nice cold A/C, and none of the creeping death mold and bugs you refer to.

So, YMMV.
