Fogelman also retired out of principle when they hung the blame for Khobar on Shwalier. Unfortunately, Fogelman's early retirement left us with his unfinished vision of accountability and we ended up with the one-mistake AF and grew (and continue to grow) generations of officers and NCOs who are afraid of making decisions.

Interesting that you can watch speeches from USAFA on youtube nowadays. I barely remember the ones we listened to in our day.
